Autonomous Database + APEX Update 45 min Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle APEX deliver an unparalleled combination of superior data management and proven low-code application development. This session will explore the benefits of using a fully-managed and self-driving database together with the industry leading low code development platform.

We will also recap some of the latest news and updates relating to APEX from Oracle Open World and the latest 19.2 Release.

Beautiful Apps on Data from Everywhere using Oracle APEX 45 min Learn how you can easily build apps on remote data via REST APIs in APEX. This session will show you how you can easily build reports, forms, charts, and calendars on external datasources and seamlessly join remote and local data through the power of SQL.
Hands on Lab (Beginner or Intermediate) 90 min The Hands on Lab session will begin with signing up for an Always Free Oracle Cloud account, provisioning an Autonomous Database, and using APEX. Then, attendees will be able to choose from one of the following labs:

  1. Beginner Lab: Creating a Responsive Web Application from a Spreadsheet
  2. Intermediate Lab: Building an Application on remote data using REST APIs.
  3. Intermediate Lab 2: Building an Application on data from remote tables.
APEX 19.2 New Features – Deep Dive 90 min Oracle APEX 19.2 Includes a number of new game changing features such as Faceted Search, an all new Team Development, enhanced Popup LOV, and much more. This session will be split into two parts where we go deep into the new features in Oracle APEX 19.2.

Part 1: Faceted Search, Popup LOV / Shared LOV, Data Loading

Part 2: Team Development, Universal Theme, Builder Improvements

Mastering Mobile UI Deep Dive 30 min You don’t have to be an expert in HTML, CSS or JavaScript to build incredible mobile app experiences using Oracle APEX. In this tactical session, we will go step by step on how you can build a compelling mobile UI using standard, out-of-the-box Universal Theme features.
Q + A 30 min Ask the APEX team anything!

Christina is a Consulting Member of Technical Staff at Oracle and a member of the Oracle Application Express (APEX) development team. As APEX team member, Christina developed interactive report, websheet, SQL workshop, data workshop, and create application wizard. She also developed popular Oracle web site LiveSQL.oracle.com.
