Karen Cannell

Karen Cannell is president of TH Technology, a consulting firm providing Oracle technology services. A mechanical engineer by degree, she has analyzed, designed, developed, converted, upgraded, enhanced, and otherwise implemented legacy and commercial database applications for over 30 years, concentrating on Oracle technologies. She has worked with Application Express since its beginnings and continues to leverage the Oracle suite of tools to build quality web applications for clients in government, health care, and engineering industries. Karen is an Oracle ACE Director, an ODTUG Board Member; editor emeritus of the ODTUG Technical Journal; an Oracle Developer’s Choice finalist; an ODTUG Volunteer of the Year; and co-author of Expert Oracle Application Express, Agile Oracle Application Express, and Beginning Oracle Application Express 4.2. Guy Harrison

Guy Harrison is a software professional with more than 20 year’s experience in database design, development, administration, and optimization. He is the author of Next Generation Databases, Oracle Performance Survival Guide and MySQL Stored Procedure Programming as well as well as other books, articles and presentations on database technology. He writes a monthly column for Database Trends and Applications and is an Oracle ACE alumni and a MongoDB certified DBA.

Conner McDonald

Connor McDonald

Connor McDonald is a Oracle Developer Advocate for Oracle Corporation. Over the past 25 years, he has worked with systems in Australia, the United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, Western Europe, and the United States. He has co-authored three books and has been a popular speaker at Oracle conferences around the world, specializing in topics regarding the database engine and PL/SQL. He has three times won the Best Speaker award by the UK Oracle User Group, and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award by the UKOUG in 2016.

Gregg van der Westhuizen

Gregg leads the solution engineering team for the Asia Pacific. He works closely with the sales team to provide technical and functional assistance throughout the sales process so that insightsoftware solutions are aligned to the challenges faced by organizations using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
He also provides technical demonstrations of insightsoftware’s products, proof of concepts, solution architectures, and consulting and training services. Gregg studied programming at TDF Programming Institute in South Africa, qualifying as ITUC – COBOL Entry Level Programmer.
