Public transit data is rapidly growing as many transit agencies publish information and encourage developers to create innovative applications. In this session, I will demonstrate how I built an Oracle APEX application to consume GTFS real-time data and present it effectively using APEX map regions and Oracle Spatial/Graph features.
I will also explain how I leveraged Oracle Autonomous Database 23ai MLE functionalities to parse the protocol buffer format of GTFS real-time data. The session will include a live demonstration of the application using real-time transit data from a transit agency.
